Home screen language / vocabulary selection#58

F

At startup it would be great if Wokabulary could show a “home page” with an overview of all the dictionaries created by the user.

Thanks for your feedback Fabrixdelo!

We think, when launching the app, most users want to continue with the vocabulary they had last used. So having a selection on startup would create additional friction for them.

However, we are in design discussions on how to make the language switching more prominent and easier accessible on iPhone. (On the Mac, the language selection is always visible in the toolbar)

Hello Gabriel,
thank you for replying.

Yes, making the language switching more prominent and easier accessible on iPhone would be greatly appreciated.

@Fabrixdelo thanks again for your feedback and your patience.

We have now released Wokabulary 6 and it makes switching between languages much easier (especially on the iPhone).

In addition to that, we have added many more new features and improvements. You find a complete overview of what’s new on our blog:
https://wokabulary.com/blog/next-generation-vocabulary-learning-wokabulary-6/

You can get Wokabulary 6 on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id1667619825
It is not an update to Wokabulary 5 but a new, separate app. All your words and progress will automatically be migrated on first launch, however.
Of course, you can keep using Wokabulary 5 as long as you are happy with it. But we offer great discounts for existing Wokabulary 5 customers who make the switch 😉
