Polysemy & Synonym handling#48

?

I would like to have a better treatment of polysemic words. Maybe you offer several fields for the polysemic words.

Actually in previous version of Wokabulary you could separate synonyms with a @ character when adding new words, so Wokabulary would add multiple word pairs with one click. But we found it too hidden a feature for most people.

Please note that Wokabulary knows about synonyms and in the typing quiz it will handle gracefully when you enter a synonmy of the word it actually wanted to know.

Note: Yes, of course polisemic words and synonyms are two distinct things. But from the applications perspective it is similar because two word pairs share the same word on one side.

Wokabulary 6 now provides a dedicated view to review all synonyms.

In addition to that, we have added many more new features and improvements. You find a complete overview of what’s new on our blog:
https://wokabulary.com/blog/next-generation-vocabulary-learning-wokabulary-6/

You can get Wokabulary 6 on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id1667619825
It is not an update to Wokabulary 5 but a new, separate app. All your words and progress will automatically be migrated on first launch, however.
Of course, you can keep using Wokabulary 5 as long as you are happy with it. But we offer great discounts for existing Wokabulary 5 customers who make the switch 😉
