Custom vocabulary names#37

Verwendet man das Programm innerhalb einer Fremdsprache für verschiedene Anwendungen, z.B. für, wie normal, die Wörter und auch für die Verbkonjugation oder besondere Idiome oder Sprichwörter, dann wäre es gut, wenn man intuitive Sprachbezeichnungen wählen könnte, die man dann in der Sprachauswahl wiederfindet.

Eine Sprachbezeichnung selbst wählen, z.B. Amerikanismen; amerikanischer Slang

Setting custom vocabulary names and also having multiple vocabularies for the same language combination will be part of Wokabulary 6.

The current strict restriction on fixed language names was originally chosen to make syncing easier and is built deep into Wokabulary 5. But technology has evolved and in wokabulary 6 we follow a different approach were we can provide more flexibility.

We have no released Wokabulary 6. And among many other new feautres, you can now create multiple vocabularies of the same language combination and give them custom names.

You can get Wokabulary 6 on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id1667619825
It is not an update to Wokabulary 5 but a new, separate app. All your words and progress will automatically be migrated on first launch, however.
Of course, you can keep using Wokabulary 5 as long as you are happy with it. But we offer great discounts for existing Wokabulary 5 customers who make the switch 😉
