Special entry and special query for verbs and their conjugation#14

D

At the moment I create an entry for a verb and write the conjugations one by one in the comment line. This is unsuitable for learning, because I can only hide the comment completely during the quiz or it is visible from the beginning, even before I have translated the verb.

It would make more sense like this:

A special card for verbs in which you can enter all conjugations.
This would be accompanied by a special query of this verb card, so that not all conjugations appear at once.

First the basic form of the verb is asked.
Then the conjugations (1.) in order or (2.) in random order. Should be able to be set as an option.

In addition to the above, you should also be able to cover the verb conjugation of different tenses.

I see your point, Johannes.
However, grammar is of course very different across languages, so this is a bit hard to implement. We want Wokabulary to be language agnostic, so we rather stick with more general fields.

But, we will support markdown formatting for comments in Wokabulary 6, so you can better structure your comments. (See #24 )
And we will provide better control over when the comments are shown in the quiz. You can already change that in the settings, but it is a bit hidden.

Okay, but in this case I then have the problem that the comment field is way too small.

As I said before, I currently write the conjugations in a few lines. But I need them all at least one below the other, because of the clarity. But if I try to do that, the text gets very long and I can’t see it in the quiz, because the comment field is not designed for that. That should then be able to be displayed quite differently.
