Manual synchronization button#113

T

I use two devices and I need them to always be in sync. Auto synch is not syncing 😔

Hi Trunovaruslana!
Actually sync should automatically be triggered on every change you make.
However, we will further improve syncing in Wokabulary 6.

Just for background and for testing: What is your usecase for using Wokabulary simultanously on two devices?

Syncing via iCloud happens in almost no-time, so there is no need for manual reloading.

I have two computers and phone and I wish the devices to sync vocabulary between the devices so I don’t need to export/import from one device to another all changes. Does the app sync the dictionaries? I didn’t notice any option in Settings and I don’t see the same dictionaries on the phone after application installation

The iCloud syncing is handled my macOS / iOS automatically and happens in the background.
If you install Wokabulary on several devices at relatively short intervals, it sometimes happens that the iCloud sync is too slow, so you accidentally create multiple vocabularies for the same language. You don’t see this immediately, and these duplicate languages won’t synchronize with each other.
Please double-check under Settings > Languages that you don’t have two vocabularies with the same language combination. In this case, you simply have to delete one of the two languages. (We want to add an automatic check for that in the next update so we can notify users if that happens.)

If this does not solve the syncing problem for you, please contact us via support@wokabulary.com
